Your main responsibilities
• Proactively providing functional and technical maintenance for the business applications
• Continuously keeping control of areas regarding the managed applications, e.g. intranet and internet
• applications, content management systems, CRM systems
• Communicating with all the stakeholders and key-users, e.g. marketing, risk performance
• management
• Delivering the agreed services concerning applications
• Managing the structured acceptance of changes to production
Your experience and skills
• Relevant educational background or similar working level
• 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in IT, preferably with functional and technical application management in a large environment
• Preferably knowledge of and experience with SQL, Oracle and/or Tibco
• Knowledge of the Windows Operating System and of the processes and services of an IT organisation such as ITIL, ASL and Prince2
• Knowledge of and experience with the financial industry, specifically asset management, is a plus

Your team and challenge
The (Junior) Application Specialist position is internally referred to as (Junior) IT Specialist.
You will operate within a team of about 20 colleagues within the Application Service Delivery (ASD) department as part of the Technology business line. ASD delivers the maintenance support and is responsible for a reliable and efficient landscape. You will be liaising with multiple stakeholders in the business in order to maintain and improve the application landscape. You will have international exposure and the unique opportunity to participate in challenging projects while helping the organisation grow to a more global and proactive daily operations.
