As part of our commitment to Asia, we are currently looking for a high calibre and self-motivated candidate to join our Singapore Branch as a Junior Asian Rates Trader. This unique career opportunity provides the successful candidate with a chance to learn and develop as a trader within an established and experienced Asian Rates Trading team. You will be performing profit/loss generation, risk analysis and will also be trained in the trading, pricing and execution of transactions in Asian Markets with the view to taking responsibility for a part of the broader portfolio.
To be considered for the role, you should possess the following:
• Masters degree, preferably in a Finance, Science or Technology discipline
• One to three years Markets experience in a Front, Middle or Back office role is preferable.
• Dedication to develop a career in banking industry
• Energetic, self-motivated and fast learning with a positive attitude
• Strong analytical, problem solving and organization skills
• Superior numeric ability and computer skills.
• Team player with good interpersonal and presentation skills
• Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese
