Junior Associate, Special Situations and Debt Group
Our client is an exciting special situations and investment firm, with a mandate to invest across the debt capital structure. With a truly flexible mandate and investment style, they aim to generate significant returns for investors through private loans, credits, debt and other investment strategies.
They are now looking to add an Associate to their team, who will work on the origination and execution of investments for the fund. Supporting the investment directors, this will involve the evaluation of investments, structuring of deals, negotiation of terms, deal execution and portfolio management.
Candidates may come from a variety of backgrounds but you are most likely to be in:
- private equity
- a credit, mezzanine or debt fund
- investment banking
- the corporate finance team of a big four firm
The base salary for this role will be about £50,000 - with the prospect of bonus and carried interest. the successful candidate will almost certainly take a cut in base for the role.
