Junior Business Analyst – Convertible Bonds – Investment Bank recruitment
Top tier Investment Bank require a Junior Business Analyst to work on a front office facing role in their Convertible Bonds business. This role is a rare opportunity for a junior candidate to work on complex Front Office technology projects even if they do not have convertible bonds experience. The candidate will be working on a diverse range of IT projects, and whilst the main focus will be convertible bonds they will also gain exposure to other products including Equities and Credit Derivatives. The ideal candidate would be someone with 1-2 years Business Analysis experience, ideally in bonds or derivatives but some outstanding candidate will be considered from other areas of banking. This role may suit someone who is currently in a technical role but is looking for more business engagement and Front Office exposure. SQL, Unix and Excel experience would all be extremely useful. It is absolutely vital that applicants have extremely strong communication skills and should be comfortable facing off directly to traders in a demanding front office environment.
