Veritix is currently looking for a talented Junior Business Analyst to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to develop and grow the product functionality and strategy. The successful candidate will demonstrate end-to-end ownership of the design phase - from requirements gathering to specification and tracking. The individual must be data and metrics driven, possess strong customer and partner relationship skills, is business and technical savvy and have the drive to always provide their best effort.

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the following duties:

·         Own and define functional requirements incorporating competitive and market feedback from customers and partners.

·         Lead requirements gathering sessions to determine the appropriate functional requirements.

·         Author use cases to assist in identifying the functional requirements.

·         Drive and assist in documenting the implementation requirements.

·         Track the functional requirements through testing.

·         Design flow charts, diagrams and reports.

·         Maintain the Product Requirements Document (PRD).

·         Work with the software engineers to ensure functional requirements are met.

·         Work with the quality assurance team to ensure test cases cover all functional requirements.

·         Train internal and external stakeholders when appropriate.

·         Remain current with industry trends.

·         Identify opportunities for improvement.

 

 

Requirements:

·         Experience in game/event planning for professional sports teams, collegiate sports, or arenas a plus.

·         Experience writing use cases, functional requirements, or similar technical documents.

·         Experience with the software development lifecycle.

·         University degree required.

·         1 – 3 years of business systems analysis experience.

·         Strong technical background with familiarity of multiple coding languages.

·         Possess strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

·         Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
