Junior Buyside Equity Analyst
Employer overview:
My client is a top asset management firm managing an award winning portfolio invested in international equities. They have a long term investment horizon of 5 years investing mainly in large caps globally.
The role:
You will work alongside a team of analysts under the supervision of the international equities PM. You will be responsible for your own research focusing on global large cap equities. It is likely you will start as a generalist and then be allocated some sectors to cover.
You will conduct fundamental analysis of companies, meet-interview company management, participate in industry conferences, take part in the fund management by making buy-sell recommendations.
This job will offer you an opportunity from time to time to travel all over the world.
The client will sponsor you to become CFA qualified.
Candidate profile:
- Fluent French speaker, fluency in other languages highly desirable alongside with international professional experience in asset management, MA or PE.
- Strong academics
- You must have 6 months to three years experience in valuing companies in asset management firm, bank, private equity fund
- Demonstrated interest in investment management.
You must be available to start in January 2013.
