Junior Credit Analyst – Buy Side recruitment
The credit research team is organised by sector and works closely with the portfolio managers on directional, relative value and arbitrage strategies. The coverage is global (EUR, NA, EM) and includes HY/IG issuers.
Role Description
- Work closely with the senior credit analysts and take responsibility for one or multiple sectors
- Analyse company financial performance and assess company strategy and financial policy in order to develop a fundamental opinion
- Review debt documentation
- Contribute to the optimisation of the organisation and develop new analysis applications
- Participate to company roadshows, industry conferences
- Monitor and analyse sector/company newsflows and update portfolio managers
Profile
1st successful experience (up to 3 years) in credit analysis (trainee or professional).
Strong academic background (Master specialised in Finance). CFA candidate preferred.
Familiar with cash-flow modelling. Good understanding of debt documentation.
Basic knowledge of the corporate bond and CDS markets.
Ability to react quickly in a fast moving environment.
English and French languages are required.
