Junior Credit Sales

Stable and growing leading US financial services firm looking to add a Junior VP - VP level sales person to the Credit sales desk in Chicago. The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience as an analyst or junior sales person on a fixed income desk ( cash - corporate credit - high grade - high yield - investment grade - debt ).
The candidate need not have a large account list to transfer across but should have experience speaking - dealing with clients based in North America. Ideally the candidate will have spent time as an analyst and is looking for the next step in to a front office sales role. The candidate should have a very good understanding of corporate credit products.
This position would be a good fit for someone who is looking for a step up in their career with a leading name in order to build and increase the number of active investors to whom they distribute generalist fixed income and structured products, whilst increasing their client base.
This position will compensate using a fixed base + bonus package

Key skills- responsibilities:
• Products: Fixed Income, Corporate Credit, Bonds etc
• Clients: North American Financial Institutions ( Real Money -Hedge Funds - Banks etc )
• Maintenance of the existing client base and acquisition of new clients in the market.
• Liaising with all products and trading teams
• 3 years experience selling Fixed Income and- or Structured products to institutional clients in the US
• A good understanding of corporate credit products ( cash - corporate credit - high grade - high yield - investment grade - debt )
• Hard working and energetic
