Junior Cross Asset Structurer Required – Leading Investment Bank greenfield expansion – Up to £70k + Bonus + Package recruitment

Montash Associates is working exclusively with a leading Tier One Investment Bank in London, and are looking to find a Junior Structurer to join their market leading team

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join one of the largest players in the industry in a key, strategic expansion project. As a result, there will be excellent career potential as well as a market leading package.

The team is going to be tasked with structuring complex solutions for Retail, Corporate and Institutional clients across the EMEA region. The team is going to be cross asset, with a primary focus on FX, Equities and Rates.

This individual will be supporting the desk in a number different ways. There will be heavy interaction with sales and marketing, quants and trading. The main focus is to come up with innovative, diverse and out of the box solutions, maximising PnL and generating new business.

They are looking for a dynamic, charismatic individual that can think outside of the box, work well as part of a team but also be independent and self-motivated. Attention to detail is essential, as is the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally. 

In order to qualify for this role you must:

• Have a strong knowledge of structuring. 

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Good banking knowledge, Equity knowledge is a strong preference

• Good quantitative skills

• Excellent language skills, drawing up and reviewing contracts and documentation will be an essential part of the role, so you must be comfortable with complex English language

As mentioned above, structuring experience is not essential, and individuals from other backgrounds will be considered. Candidate from outside banking, e.g. Law, will also be relevant, providing they have good mathematical skills.

The package on offer is excellent. The base salary will be up to £70k. There will be a market leading bonus on top of this. Relocation assistance will be available for the right candidate.
