Junior Database Administrator Job in Kildare, Kildare Ireland
Our client is an innovative multinational company with operations across Ireland and they are recognised as one of the world's most Innovative Companies and top 50 most attractive employers. They are currently looking for a Junior Database Administrator to join their team
Technical Skills:
•Excellent knowledge of relational databases design and development, knowledge of database tuning and technologies - Oracle, SQL Server.
•Strong knowledge of SQL querying, PL/SQL, and ODBC connectivity with the ability to reusedeveloptailor SQL.
•Experience with software development - full application development life cycle, knowledge of application integration concepts and middleware implementation.
•Knowledge and experience of data warehouse design, data transformations, data mining, data marts, DWH/BI project implementations, ETL and BI applications and tools (Oracle, Informatica, …).
•Experience in validation of business and data requirements, including: Data integration (ETL, EAI, and web services), Meta data, Modeling (Conceptual, Logical, and Physical), Data delivery, and Business intelligence.
•Ability to provide guidance on data architecture and data integration layers, to ensure the integration of the data and information components of a solution meet our customer requirements.
•Foundation or expert knowledge and experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
•Apply technical knowledge of technology and industry trends to assist with development, implementation and maintenance of complex data solutions.
•Assist and lead the resolution of complex data problems for large/complex projects.
