Junior Desk Developer / Assistant Trader – Algorithmic Trading Desk – Based in London, UK recruitment
The position is for a Graduate / PHD who is an accomplished C# Developer to work for a leading Hedge Fund Based in London. The C# developer will be working directly on the Algorithmic Trading desk within their London Office. The position gives the C# developer the opportunity to design and build new front office components, whilst being highly trained in Option theory to be able to run their own strategies in the future.
The C# developer will be reporting into to the Head of Algorithmic trading and be given exposure to trades. On the engineering side, the C# developer will be working to developing Front Office tools and other proprietary trading software.
The C# developer will have an impressive educational background, have at least circa 3 years maximum development experience and would have spent vast amount of time programming. They will ideally have embarked in some soft of their own proprietary trading.

As previously stated this role is for a highly motivated hands-on C# developer who is looking to work on a number of Greenfield projects and also looking to get heavily involved with proprietary trading. An insight into to the Algorithmic trading / engineering is a massive bonus and the client would be inclined to see strong candidates with this background.
