Junior Desk Strategist/Quant (Analyst or Associate Level) recruitment
. It requires the candidate to have the capabilities in modelling, software development, and quantitative marketing and structuring. Responsibilities will include:
- Working as part of the trading desk team to price and structure transactions and manage market, counterparty and funding risk in the front office.
- Developing new financial models for credit and financing products.
- Building and maintaining a complete trading and risk management platform.
- Generating trade and new structuring ideas for clients and assisting in the marketing and structuring of transactions where substantial analytics or infrastructure are required.
• Assisting in Firm-wide Strategies initiatives
Requirements:
- Mathematical/quantitative major background.
- Strong programming skills.
- Knowledge of stochastic calculus and financial derivatives is a plus.
- Some knowledge with European asset back securities will be a plus but not required.
The person:
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and to deliver results quickly.
- Ability to solve problems and to explain the ideas that underlie them to non-technical clients and colleagues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
