We are recruiting a Junior Economist who will be working in our Seoul office as part of the Asia Economic and Markets Research Team.
Typical duties include:
- Providing information and analysis to support/assist the business decisions of the sales and trading teams
- Contribute to producing economic publications for distribution internally and to clients
Skills
Qualifications:
- Master (MA) degree or above in Economics, with at least 2 years of relevant financial market experience
- Preference will be given to the PhD degree holders, and/or having research experience in government agencies, central banks, and multilateral institutions
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills and good knowledge of financial instruments, market factors, and the Korean economy
- Fluent in Korean and English, and strong writing skills in both languages
- Able to work independently, show initiative, and take full responsibility for completion of duties
