I am working with a highly reputable financial institution that is expanding their brokerage division and having established a commodities desk they are looking to expand and add experience brokers to the team with established client portfolio’s. They are looking for candidates with some knowledge of the energy and commodities markets.
Responsibilities for this Position:
- Assist Head of Commodities to establish companies’ presence within the commodities brokerage space.
- Initial focus will be across energy, but they are interested in speaking with individuals with metals and agricultural experience.
- Add success and profitability to the team and learn from the experienced brokers on the desk.
- There is the opportunity to develop your own team within a specific product.
- Assist in the expansion of the team going forward by increasing market share in specific markets.
Skills required for the role:
- 1+ years of commodities broking experience
- A book of transferable clients
- Futures and Options experience
- Experience using TT Platform
- Willing to locate in London
