CIB markets are looking to hire a qualified candidate for the Global Equity Derivatives (GED) team in Birmingham.

The Global Equity Derivatives team provides multi-product solutions to a wide array of institutions, hedge funds, corporates and retail clients - delivering price efficiency and liquidity in markets worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Pricing and risk management responsibility for secondary market flows in commoditized and tailor made structured retail products.
* Analyzing product range and pricing of competitor products.
* Support the set up of new products/ payoffs in risk and pricing systems.
* Execution of trades and hedging of associated positions
* Monitoring risk reports, generation of trading strategies and supporting the senior Traders with risk management
Interfacing with different divisions of the bank to deal with any operational or infrastructure issues impacting the Trading desk
You will have:
Just have strong finance/ engineering/ quantitative/ mathematics background through relevant undergraduate studies from a top tier university
MBA/ MSc in finance related subjects desirable
Deep understanding of derivative products and associated pricing models
Knowledge of Deutsche Bank models/ environment would be a plus.
Programming skills in VBA.
Be highly motivated with a strong willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Diligent, efficient and able to manage multiple conflicting deliverables including working under pressure
Be comfortable in a technical environment
Possess superior communication skills (written and verbal) with strict attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
