JOB DESCRIPTION

 

We are working with a leading hedge fund that is looking to add a junior trader to their fixed income RV group. The fund is renowned as being one of the most profitable fixed income groups anywhere in the world and are growing from a position of strength. The success has been driven by internal growth and development combined with recruiting the very best talent in the market. As a result they are a highly demanding fund in terms of entry requirements. This role is to sit alongside one the funds most profitable Portfolio Managers and to work alongside them as a junior trader. This will include, but not be limited to; execution, risk management, idea generation and system development.

 

The group is looking for candidates with absolutely exemplary academic backgrounds, having studied highly quantitative subjects (Maths, Applied Maths, Physics, Financial Engineering etc) at truly top tier Universities. If you do not meet these requirements then unfortunately we will not be able to process your application further.

 

This academic prowess should be complemented by experience working in an extremely technical fixed income trading group. This experience will likely come in a trading or a quant research capacity. Candidates from strong exotic trading desks are likely to be of interest. This is a truly fantastic opportunity to join a growing, successful team at a large hedge fund.

 

 

REQUIRED:

 

Outstanding academics in a highly quantitative subject from a truly top tier (top 10 globally) university

Excellent understanding fixed income products and complex, highly technical trading of fixed income products
