Junior Fixed Income Sales
My client is a leading US Financial institution looking to add 2 specialist sales people to their Fixed Income team in London. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years experience within the financial markets, dealing with institutional clients regularly. The chosen sales person will have a very good knowledge generally of fixed income specialist products (ORB; Debt Primary Markets; ETFs ETPs; Covered Warrants Structured Products ) OR of Credits / Cash bonds / CDS.
The focus of these roles is to develop and maintain client relationships with the UK and European customer base. These roles are key, strategic positions and the chosen sales people will have the opportunity to work alongside the desk head to develop and implement sales strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Head of Desk to identify new opportunities, execute and extend sales strategies
- Develop key client relationships with external buy side / institutional customers based in both the UK and Europe
- Support customer activity, respond to customer queries
- Business development – by gaining an in-depth understanding of customer requirements
Key skills:
- 4+ years experience in the financial markets which will have resulted in
- A very good knowledge generally of fixed income specialist products (ORB; Debt Primary Markets; ETFs ETPs; Covered Warrants Structured Products ) OR
- A very good knowledge generally of Credit / Cash Bonds / CDS
- A few years of experience in a client facing or sales role and therefore a good networks of contacts in the UK / European buy side institutional community
- Excellent oral, written, and presenting skills tailored to their customers’ needs
- Driven, ambitious, hungry personality
