Junior Fixed Income Sales
Leading American investment bank looking to add a junior or VP level sales person to the Fixed Income sales desk in Dallas. The ideal candidate will have 2 years experience selling fixed income products ( cash - structured products - corporate credit - municipals etc ) to financial institutions in North America.
This sales role will have a broad mandate allowing flexibility with constructing products ( cash - structured products - corporate credit - municipals etc ) that the client base demands. This position would be a good fit for a sales person who is looking for a step up in their career with a leading American name in order to increase the number of institutional clients to whom they distribute generalist fixed income. This is a fairly junior sales role so a small institutional client list is preferable but not essential.
This position will compensate using a fixed base + bonus package
Key skills required:
- 2 years experience on a fixed income sales desk
- A good knowledge of fixed income products ( cash - structured products - corporate credit - municipals etc )
- Experience dealing with financial institutions in the USA
- To be currently located in Texas or willing to relocate there
- Hard working and confident
- Good education
- Ideally available to start within the next 6 months
Responsibilities:
- To operate as a junior sales person on the fixed income desk
- To build open your own knowledge of fixed income products ( cash - structured products - corporate credit - municipals etc ) and to increase the number of financial institutions in the USA to whom the bank distributes fixed income
- To maintain the existing client base and acquire new clients within the market ( American financial institutions )
