Junior Fund manager – Leading UK Based Asset Manager
A large traditional Fund of Hedge Fund is currently looking to add a junior fund manager in London. This is a junior position working with the senior fund of hedge fund managers therefore applicants should be experienced but not searching for a fund manager position at this point.
This is one of the most well known platforms within the alternative investment space at present therefore offering huge progression opportunities across the firm and the ability to do top quality fundamental research on leading hedge funds.
Your responsibilities will include:-
- Selected Single Hedge Fund Managers using quantitative and qualitative analysis, on-site due diligence, Manager interviews
- Execution and approval
- Meeting with fund managers
- Portfolio construction using qualitative and quantitative methodologies
- Ensuring funds are compliant
- Reporting of the hedge funds.
- Working on key projects
- Assisting the senior fund manager
All applicants must have:-
- Direct experience working in the funds industry, particularly asset management.
- Attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills.
- IMC Qualification/ CFA qualification or demonstration that you are working towards these.
- A university degree from a leading school minimum of 2:1.
- Approval to work in the UK.
Within this role you will be working closely to senior fund managers in the space and you will be on a 6 month training course which will help and mentor you to make excellent investment decisions and give sound investment advice. This team has an excellent reputation therefore you should be extremely ambitious and keen to move into a demanding high profile position.
