Junior Group Internal Auditor 30-40% travel – Industrial Group
The Client
Our client, an industrial group with a worldwide presence, is currently looking for a Group Internal Auditor who is self-starter and like taking initiatives.
As an auditor, you will realize internal audits thorough the Group. The audits will be very diverse: financial, operational, strategic, internal controls, compliance, fraud investigation, consulting, IT systems reviews, …
In addition, you will be expected to contribute with your ideas and creativity to the continuous improvement and development of the Internal Audit function.
Job Description
You will be part of a small audit team where you will work directly with the Head of Audit.
- You participate to the definition of the yearly audit plan and you perform internal audit missions
- You proactively contribute to continuously improve the in-house internal audit methodology by bringing innovative ideas
- You work with the Head of Internal Audit at the development of a global risk assessment process
- You assess the adequacy of the Internal control environment and the efficiency of business processes
- You test the accuracy of financial statements
- You ensure compliance with group policies and external regulations
- You follow-up the development of IT projects
- You identify and assess risk areas
- You develop actions plan to correct these risks
- Ad hoc projects and analysis
Profile
- You have a Master degree in Finance or related areas
- You have 3 years of experience in audit within a Big-4 (with industrial clients)
- You are willing to travel 30-40 % of the time (mainly Europe - from Monday to Friday)
- You are autonomous but you also show team spirit
- You are able to hold a conversation with both senior management and workers
- You are fluent in French and English
- You are entrepreneurial and like taking initiatives
- You have a hands-on attitude
- You have some affinity in IT
