As a result they are looking to take on a strong Hydrology expert (Junior or Senior) who will be able to develop advanced hydrological modeling/short term runoff forecasting for hydropower systems in the Nordic countries as well as developing methods for operational assessment of snow water equivalent in hydropower catchment areas such as theAlps.
Initially the focus is to build river discharges reservoir inflows for Europe (principally Scandinavia, Alps Spain) but then also expand these models to look at China, US, Australia and New Zealand.
