JUNIOR INVESTMENT ANALYST
The appointment is limited to a duration of 6 month. A strong performer may be subsequently offered permanent employment.
You will be actively involved in all aspects of private equity work.
Your role
- Conduct sector screenings and identify potential investment opportunities
- Approach companies and initiate discussions
- Assess investment opportunities by running a valuation model and by verifying commercial assumptions
- Prepare investment documentation and present to Investment Committee
- Assess due diligence findings and discuss opportunities and concerns with team
- Help monitor and support our portfolio companies through meeting participation and report creation
- Carry out quarterly valuations of portfolio companies
- Assist in reporting to investors
- Support fund raising activities
- Be a constructive yet challenging discussion partner in investment project who is not afraid to share and defend his/her opinion
You will gain first hand insights in additional aspect of private equity such as negotiations, deal structuring, financing and other MA considerations.
Your profile
- Bachelor degree or higher; strong academic record
- Strong analytical skills and commitment to excellence
- Communicative and fluent in German and English, French is desired
- Proficient in Excel and Power Point; valuation skills a plus but not mandatory
- Self-starter with strong entrepreneurial drive and passion for business
- Work experience in finance, law, business consulting, entrepreneurship or operations a plus but not mandatory
