We are seeking a junior level professional to join our Investment Research team in New York. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree from a top ranked institution, has a passion for investing and problem solving, and preferably some previous capital markets experience. Excellent written and verbal communication is required along with advanced technical skills, such as VBA.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated their ability to think openly and critically, tackle unfamiliar challenges, and ground their work in rigorous analysis.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of information systems. He/She will work closely with our proprietary manager databases, ensuring that all relevant information is captured consistently and accurately. He/She will be expected to maintain peer groups, and associated watch lists, keeping in the investment group abreast of new information.
- The individual will assist with manager due diligence across asset classes, on investment strategies ranging from long only index based strategies to various hedge fund strategies. Responsibilities will extend from performance assessment to document reviews.
- Responsible for assisting analysts in preparation for investment committee meetings and presentations, manager meetings, and client presentations.
- Will work closely with other areas including information technology and client service to prepare client reports, market materials, profiles, and on ad-hoc projects.
- Other responsibilities as required.
