(JUNIOR) INVESTMENT MANAGER FOR DERIVATIVE STRATEGIES recruitment
Your department and challenge
The Derivative Strategies (DS) Team within the Structured Investment Strategies (SIS) Boutique manages funds with a total asset base of around € 8 billion. These funds are offered to retail and institutional clients. The strategies follow rules based investment principles and make extensive use of derivatives. DS is looking for a (junior) investment manager that will strengthen the team. Next to the management of the strategies the investment manager in closely involved in activities that cover our whole value chain. He/She will have the opportunity to learn in a very innovative environment.
Your main responsibilities
• Portfolio management
• Process improvement (requires understanding of and cooperation with whole value chain)
• Alignment with trading team
• Support client relationship manager and product specialist
• Support commercial activities
• (Assistance) in strategy development
• Participation in organization-wide projects
Your experience and skills
• Financial economics or equivalent background
• Relevant experience of 3 to 5 years in Asset Management
• Good understanding of financial instruments (focus on derivatives)
• Handles complex problems and efficiently comes up with solutions
• Independently and proactively helps to identify improvements and developments in the investment process
• Fluent English (oral and written), is a must other languages (including Dutch) are a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of Excel. VBA knowledge is preferred
• CFA Designation or other relevant professional qualification is a plus
