£26k - £35k + Benefits + Bonus.
Harrington Starr is working with a leading Trading Systems Software Vendor to find a Junior Java Developer to work on the development of their award winning Trading Systems.
As the Junior Java Developer (GUI, Swing, Computer Science) you will be working on the front end development of their leading equities, futures and options trading systems. You will be given extensive training on financial asset classes and object oriented Java GUI development. This Vendor is leading the way in the development of equities trading platform and is consistently working on Greenfield development projects.
* At least a 2.1 from a well known university, ideally in Computer Science - Essential
* Experience in Core Java Development - Essential
* Knowledge of GUI Development - Highly Beneficial
* Experience with Java Swing - Highly Beneficial
* Knowledge of Design Patterns - Beneficial
This is a great opportunity for a Junior Java Developer (GUI,Swing, Computer Science) to pick up extensive financial services knowledge and fantastic training in Core Java and GUI development. You will be join an industry leading training program and then be working directly on developing leading trading systems.
