Junior Java Programmer – Front Office FX Trading – Great Opportunity to Break into Front Office/Finance
There is a new role with an Investment Bank in London, looking for a Junior Core Java developer to join their Front Office FX Trading group.
The team are about to launch a major new programme to implement a greenfield High-Frequency Trading Platform and Real-Time Pricing System for their FX Business.
The team is very well established and comprise some of the leading Java developers across the industry. They require a Junior Developer to contribute to the delivery of business-critical Trading Applications, working directly with the Traders, Quants and the Lead Quant Developer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to break into Finance in a role that offers unparalleled business exposure and progression opportunities.
You must have the following skills and experience to be considered:
- Strong Core Java Programming experience
- Keen interest in Finance/Financial Markets
- Numerate Degree
Any additional knowledge of JDBC, Java Swing or Maven is beneficial.
The role offers a basic salary negotiable up to £50k + bonus and benefits package.
