Junior Latam Economist
4CAST, established in 1994, provides online intraday financial market research and analysis to global sell-side, buy-side and central bank organizations. With a team of over 30 analysts in London, New York and Singapore 4CAST is a highly respected force in the independent financial market analysis industry specializing in global foreign exchange, government debt, money markets and emerging markets.
We are looking for a Junior Latin America Economist for our NY office. The position involves economic forecasting and analysis of countries; preparing written real-time analysis for the company's publications and intraday website; developing FX and fixed income strategies; and the writing of in-depth reports with an emphasis on monetary, fiscal and FX policies.
Requirements:
Minimum requirement is a Bachelor's degree with advanced coursework in economics and strong writing and analytical qualities and/or experience.
A strong grasp of economics is a pre-requisite.
Experience is a plus but not required.
Spanish speaker preferred.
