Junior Leveraged Loan Trader
The trader role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in loans and/or high-yield credit trading. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, learns quickly and enjoys working in a dynamic environment. Related trading experience will be considered.
The new hire will be responsible for the execution of leveraged loan and high-yield bond trades for the various accounts managed by the firm including CLOs, separately managed accounts and opportunity funds.
The trader will have the following responsibilities:
- Analyze trading activity in the secondary market to identify opportunities.
- Advise credit analyst team on all trading matters including potential trading levels for investment committee decisions.
- Execute trades based on investment decisions made by the investment committee and coordinate settlement along with operations personnel.
The trader will have the opportunity to take the initiative and develop a significant degree of independence and responsibility within the team. The company is seeking to fill the position as soon as possible and will make competitive offers for qualified candidates.
