Job Description

* Has the role of Group Owner, Service Request Owner and local Service Delivery Manager as well as Service Request Analyst.
* Manages and directs the activities of Getronics Germany in resolving service requests as well as coordinating activities with third party service providers and internal delivery teams as necessary.
* Is the key contact person for the area heads within Europe as well as the escalation point in the respective area
* Is responsible for the forecast hardware planning and monthly ordering
* Is responsible for the planning of various activities
* Is the key contact person vis-à-vis salesman of Getronics Switzerland and all teams within Swiss Re which have Getronics requirements
* Manages and directs improvements for processes and products
* Organizes and directs weekly meetings with Area Heads as well as with Getronics Germany and reports directly to the Area Head Adliswil

Main responsibilities of the role

* Ensure that all service requests are resolved / fulfilled within the SLA.

Escalate any service request which breaches its SLA to the appropriate Process Manager.

* Ensure that staging service is provided timely, effectively and adheres to departmental standards, policies and OLAs minimizing adverse impact of service failures. Ensure that it copes effectively with the complexity and volume of end user service requests raised.
* Responsible for the KPI's of assigned service requests. Communicate feedback to the originator of the service request Owner of linked service requests and ensure timely resolution where assigned to his team.
* Responsible for collecting and managing feedback relating to Getronics.
* Performs the role of Service Request Analyst by validating and approving customer requests for hardware, consulting with the customer where required.
* In collaboration with Service Delivery Managers, support in managing relationship with external suppliers of the area and provide feedback to the performance of services.
* Performs area service delivery management, which includes service improvement and demand management activities for local based services.
* Ensure timely, appropriate, clear and targeted communication is managed to both internal and external IT units and customers
* Lead and participate in IT and business related projects as required.
* Build a strong relationship to the necessary customers as well as vendors, where needed, for maximum productivity

Requirements

* Degree or qualification in an IT related discipline or equivalent technical and business experience.
* ITIL certification
* 5+ years experience within IT Service environment
* Sound know-how in hardware lifecycle management and desktop engineering experience with client computing automation, management, collaboration and virtualization technologies
* ITIL knowledge (especially regarding Request Fulfillment) and expert in Operations (End user devices).
* Experience of cross functional working and cultural sensitivity.
* Good to excellent command of both German and English.
