Junior Market News Analyst
StreetAccount is a division of FactSet that is focused on scouring the financial world to find compelling, market moving and pertinent information to provide our subscribers with true market intelligence. FactSet StreetAccount provides real-time stock market news for brokerage firms, hedge funds, and mutual funds.
We are continuing to expand our client base throughout Europe and are seeking someone to provide coverage of the European equity markets from our London office.
The role involves all aspects of providing content to our clients, from identifying news and determining if it's material and actionable, to writing concise comments that enable investors to immediately grasp their impact.
Requirements
- A passionate interest in Financial Markets
- Related experience and a clear understanding of how news affects stocks and the broader markets
- Excellent written communication skills in English (and ideally another European language)
- Have the ability write accurately and concisely under pressure.
- A recent degree in Finance / Investment
- The ability to digest and analyse information quickly.
- Ability to generate your own ideas and work independently.
- An strong work ethic and good time management skills
