Junior .Net Developer
Job description:
As a .NET Developer, you will become part of our development team supporting our Finalyse Pricing Services business area. You will work together with the business team in order to solve any problems and to improve the current application platform. You will participate in the application prototyping (windows and web), the database design and the reports development.
Your responsibilities include translating functional analysis into technical analysis and responding to questions/problems identified by the business users regarding the internal developed application (.NET) and database system (SQL Server). You propose improvements to senior stakeholders and point out inconsistencies regarding the development of the solution.
You will design and develop high-end graphical user interfaces that correspond to the needs of the business users (C#.NET) but also design and develop internal and client-related reports (Reporting Services).
You will participate into long-term assignments (web access, SQL Server migration), application prototyping and demo’s in order to improve the quality of service and you will test new functionalities and their impact in a quality assurance environment.
Your profile:
- You have a master degree in IT, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent.
- You are familiar with the concepts of a relational database management system and object-oriented programming
- First experience (1-2 years) in .NET (WPF, C#, ASP.NET), JAVA and/or SQL Server is a plus
- You are proactive and creative, a quick learner and you have good communication skills.
- You speak and write at least one of the national languages (second language a plus) and English.
