A global Exchange URGENTLY urgently seeks a talented Junior Network Engineer to join their Network Services team ASAP. My client boasts a global presence and is considered to be one of the biggest and best brokerage firms in the world. The successful Junior Network Engineer will be working within a high availability technical atmosphere, working with senior engineers using technologies such as CCNA, CCNP, LAN, WAN and IP Networks.
The successful Junior Network Engineer will be responsible for:
* Dealing with CCNA level network issues, logging and documentation of issues - following processes
* Documentation of change requests and collation of relevant information
* Monitoring network and circuit availability
* Working with third party providers of hardware and solutions
* Diagnosing network and routing issues
* Working within standardised change management procedures
* Managing, meeting and maintaining service levels, where appropriate providing input to other teams or team members, if necessary taking ownership of and managing problems
* Talking, meeting and networking with clients - building and maintaining relationships
In order to be considered for the role of the Junior Network Engineer -(Cisco, CCNA, CCNP, Voice, IPT, LAN, WAN, Troubleshoot, Support, IP Networks, Brokerage, IDB, Financial Services, London) the following is essential:
* Proven experience changes process and documentation with CCNA technology and VOIP/SIP/IPT/Call Manager at a support level
* A background working within a Cisco / CCNA environment and certification to CCNA level is essential
* Knowledge of WAN technologies (Fixed line, Ethernet)
* Problem solving and diagnostic skills are essential
* Excellent communication both oral and written
* The right to legally live and work in the UK with no restrictions is essential
