Junior Performance Analyst recruitment

The candidate will join the Performance Analysis team to provide performance calculation attribution analysis to our fund management offices in the region.

The incumbent will be responsible for the production, verification and communication of all performance related activities to other departments and offices as well as producing other periodic reports. The Analyst will also be responsible for understanding and ensuring the accuracy of the data.

Key responsibilities includes:

• Produce, review and validate portfolio account performance calculations

• Produce and review performance reports for regional and local offices

• Assist in preparation of management reports on fund performances

• Produce attribution reports and analyze source of fund performances

• Participate in department projects and ensure their completion

• Assist in new funds on boarding

• Provide Product Managers with ad hoc performance info for client presentations to current or prospective clients

• Support testing of new features/functionality between the Performance and Accounting platforms

• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Competencies/Skills:

• Computer literate with excellent MS Office skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Strong analysis and problem solving skills

• Good knowledge of performance, attribution methods and risk measurement

• Knowledge of the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS)

• Knowledge of the end-to-end view of the overall performance reporting process

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure

• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail skill

• Working knowledge of attribution systems a plus  

 Qualifications:

• Degree in finance related course

• CFA and/or CIPM a plus
