Junior Performance Consultant recruitment
The Role
After an initial training period you will support a wide range of clients in the German speaking European countries. Work will cover many spectrums including advising and training the client on the initial implementation of a product, providing ongoing support to ensure that each client is gaining the maximum benefit from the system and that it meets their individual needs as well as supporting the sales team in initial sales demonstrations.
Focusing on the StatPro Equity and Fixed Income Attribution product, a successful candidate will be given the opportunity to expand into other areas such as Risk Management or Composites over time. Candidates must have an aptitude for learning quickly and being able to put this into practice.
Key responsibilities
Specific responsibilities (after a period of training) will include:
- Provide support to our existing client base
- Attend client sites as and when to resolve issues or to provide necessary consulting on system use
- Provide product training to users and new employees
- Support clients during a new implementation or an upgrade project
- Carry out detailed investigations of any reported problems
- Update internal Central Relationship Management (CRM) system with any problems raised, detailing the cause and also solution
- Liaise with the Development team regarding any required client fixes
- Manage Client Services testing of any new releases or maintenance releases
- Consult with clients to identify efficiency gains through the improved usage of the system
- Liaise with Account Managers to resolve clients’ issues
- Build and enhance performance measurement expertise
- Recommend solutions and coach other team members in order to share knowledge
- Promote the company’s image by enhancing standards and client awareness
Required Experience and Knowledge
- Proven knowledge of financial products and an interest in the finance industry
- Basic knowledge of performance measurement and attribution would be an advantage
- Proven experience in the use of investment management systems would be an advantage
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft products including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience of MS SQL server 2005 an advantage
- Sound knowledge and understanding of IT
Required Skills and Abilities
- University of Applied Science (Fachhochschule) Degree in Finance or Economics
- Excellent analytical skills and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally across all levels of employees and clients
- Ability to learn and develop/progress within the company
- The ability to work in a pressured environment, planning and prioritizing workloads accordingly
- Ability to document concisely and accurately
- Ability to be a good team player
Information Security Responsibilities
In addition to the key responsibilities you will have specific information security responsibilities these are:
- Implementing and acting in accordance with StatPro’s information security policies and IT procedures
- Reporting security events, potential events or other security risks
- Protecting assets from unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, destruction or interference
- Responsibility for the information security of tasks assigned to you
- To ensure that the departmental Business Continuity Plan is kept at home in a safe place; that one is familiar with one’s responsibilities and tasks
