Junior Portfolio Manager
You will be working directly with the global High Yield portfolio manager and have sole responsibility for the EMEA region.
Responsibilities
- Originate research and manage long and short high yield and investment grade positions in one or two chosen sectors.
- Prepare investment memoranda where appropriate and present to senior leadership.
- Conduct in-depth fundamental research and financial modelling to identify investments that generate above average returns by using long/short strategies.
- Visit with company management, attend conferences, and travel to conduct primary research and channel checks.
- Initiate and manage investments and trades in the portfolios.
- Pitch investment ideas to potential clients
- Build your own PnL and take on increasing key decision making responsibilities.
In order to apply you must have:-
- Experience working as a top performing credit research analyst or are currently a junior portfolio manager
- High Yield and Investment grade experience
- Excellent academic background
- Solid modelling skills
- EMEA market experience.
