Junior Producer
Prevention.com seeks a Junior Producer to join our growing digital publishing operation. Based in our Emmaus, PA headquarters, we are looking for a skilled, motivated innovator who is excited about the opportunity to be part of the team.
Responsibilities include:
-Work directly in the content management system to input content and photos, and schedule and publish content, photos, polls, video, etc.
-Prep photos for online use (includes checking rights, resizing, optimizing, uploading via FTP)
-Build and manage newsletters by prepping text, HTML, and traffic and tracking tags
-Format and upload videos to video application (Brightcove)
-Support overall site operations by managing syndication efforts, maintaining sweepstakes, and executing SEO strategies.
-Assist with the production of Prevention’s iPad edition and mobile applications
Ideal candidate will possess:
-A college degree including internships, preferably in a digital environment
-Strong work ethic and insatiable appetite to learn
-Solid footing in HTML; familiarity with CSS
-Basic knowledge of Photoshop (resizing, uploading photos)
-Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail
