Role summary
We have an exciting opportunity within the department for an Analyst level candidate to provide PL reporting and analysis for the Rates and Structured Trading Groups.
Key responsibilities in this role include but will not be limited to the following:
Preparation and analysis of daily PL;
Daily analysis-processing of market data and price verification
Pricing and some risk reporting for a specific business group on timely and accurate basis;
Conducting basic analysis in support of the Product Control function;
Liaison and control of Front Office and all trade support teams;
Ad-hoc projects and systems implementation - enhancements;
Implementing effective process controls and process re-engineering.
Essential skills required
A minimum of 2:1 Degree in a mathematical biased subject or equivalent;
Basic knowledge of capital markets and financial market products;
Competent level of Excel, Visual Basic and Access;
Excellent attention to detail.
Desirable skills required
Ideally some experience working within financial services in a similar role;
Part Qualified CIMA-CFA or equivalent;
A basic understanding of financial regulations and how they affect the business.
