Junior Programming Quant Researcher in New York

JOB DESCRIPTION-

We are looking for a quantitative researcher to join a highly tech focus hedge fund in NYC within their RD team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out various quantitative research and analytic projects in the areas of portfolio construction, risk modeling, execution research, hypothesis testing and back-testing.

The group take a systematic and scientific investment approach that aims to integrate advanced mathematics, finance theories and cutting-edge technologies to deliver superior risk adjusted returns for investors.

Requirements

  1. Computer science PhD from top school is a must
  2. 0 – 4 years’ experience. 
  3. Detail oriented, good communication skills.
  4. Strong C++ programming skills are essential
  5. Proven desire for career growth
