Junior Project Manager

My client is a major investment manager and is looking for a project manager to work in their change management team.

Tasks:

As a Project Manager within the Change Management Services Group you will be asked to deliver both technical and operational projects for multiple business units, working in collaboration with the Project Management Office function.
Key Responsibilities:

* To manage projects from approval through to implementation. You will be required to motivate a multi-disciplined team of resources, both internal and /or external, to ensure the project delivers on time and within budget
* To initiate, execute and manage change in accordance with the Project Management Office processes and controls
* To maintain structured reporting and consultation with the Project Sponsors, Project Steering Group, PMO and other key stakeholders, updating them as appropriate with progress, costs risks and issues
* Recommend and drive forward improvements to processes and practices in line with industry best practices * To coach and mentor others acting in a junior project management role
* To provide feedback, where appropriate to line managers and the Project Management Office
