As a Junior Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of projects, on time, to quality and budget, ensuring profit expectations are maximised.
Working on multiple projects of varying size and complexity, you will get involved in the full lifecycle of the project, from initiation through to closure and review.
Your other duties will include:
- Establishing project controls throughout the project
- Planning, monitoring and controlling projects
- Controlling both the technical and financial aspects of projects
- Co-ordinating all relevant parties of the project
- Maintaining customer relationships
To be considered for this opportunity, you must have experience of the following:
- Delivering electrical, construction and/or maintenance projects
- Applying project management methodologies and tools, such as PRINCE2 principles and/or project governance
Equally important, as a Junior Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager, is your ability to work well under pressure and to deliver projects on time and within budget. Excellent customer service and organisational skills are also key.
A degree in an engineering or management related discipline would be an advantage.
