Epsilon is looking for a Project Manager to be the Scrum Master of an Agile development team implementing our next generation messaging and Social Media platform. This multi-channel, enterprise level, campaign platform will allow our large number of Fortune 500 customers to develop and manage complex Customer Experience Marketing campaigns on a global scale. The Project Manager will be part of a collaborative, cross-functional Agile development team, with a focus on the faclilitation, coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts from initiation through delivery.
Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will take responsibility for managing small self-contained projects, or components of a larger project or program. As a member of the Digital Technology PMO, you will be responsible for the overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project-oriented work efforts from initiation through delivery.
- You will work in an Agile Scrum environment, assuming the Scrum Master role on a project team. You will help to establish the project scope and charter with key stakeholders, will establish the project deliverables and build out Sprint plans, and will identify resource needs and facilitate the team’s work assignments throughout the project.
- You will employ Agile Scrum methodologies to monitor and control the project, breaking project scope and deliverables into time-boxed iterations of work, and facilitating daily status meetings and iteration demos to communicate project status and achievements. You will have a good understanding of the status of projects, and will be effective at communicating this status within and beyond the boundaries of the Scrum team.
- You should be familiar with the role and functions of each team member, and will serve as a liaison between Product Management, Developers, Testers, and any other stakeholders of the project. You will facilitate communication and collaboration across all functions of the development team, and with external stakeholders.
- Change is prevalent in Scrum, and you will work with project stakeholders and Scrum team members to manage scope and schedule variance, ensuring the team is consistently working to deliver the items with the greatest business value first

- You are adept at aligning stakeholders and team members to a common project vision
- You use current tools and techniques to measure project performance, and identify and quantify any risks or variances from plan
- You are able to implements approved actions and workarounds required to mitigate project risks
- You can successfully manage change; updating project plans, prioritizing work, and facilitating acceptance from all stakeholders.

Qualifications
- 1-3 years managing software development projects
- Experience managing in an Agile environment; Certified ScrumMaster certification required
- Bachelors degree required, or equivalent experience considered
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) a plus
