Junior Project Manager/Project Coordinator – Banking – Capital Markets – Operations
Based in the City of London your role will be within a team designated to the scoping and delivery of small to large strategic projects covering IT and operational change initiatives. You will work closely with Business Analysts and Project Managers assisting with documentation, resource management, budget control and status reporting; participating in all apsects of the project lifecycle
Our client is looking for a candiate with a genuine passion for project based work who is keen to gain exposure in end to end project delivery and further develop their portfolio of project management skills. You will need between 2 and 5 years experience in a similar project based role and although financial services experience is not essential candidates who have good exposure to the banking sector will be at an advantage.
Key skills:
- Degree educated - (Maths or Computer based preferred)
- Strong communication and organisation skills
- Knowledge/experience of project methodologies (Prince2 preferred)
- Banking/Finance exposure (preferred)
