This is an
outstanding and rare opportunity for high calibre candidate with strong analytical skills to join one of the most attractive business lines in real estate. A Junior Investment Analyst is required for the Capital Markets department which is currently experiencing a period of significant growth.
The Capital Markets Department focuses on acquisitions and disposals of commercial property. It is a consultancy focused business with high expectations on customer care, brokerage and analytical skills.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide
analytical support
to the current team members. The candidate is expected to be analytically focused, with strong cash flow modelling skills in Excel, Visual Basic and presentation skills in PowerPoint.
The track record and the pipeline of the team is very attractive, which will provide the successful candidate with excellent exposure to the prime and A class commercial market in the Czech Republic.
This is not a brokerage or business development position, although the successful candidate will be occasionally in contact with clients.
The position is based in Prague, with occasional travelling throughout the Czech Republic.
The successful candidate will be expected to do the following:
- To conduct property valuations in both Circle software and Excel (previous experience with Circle is not required)
- To conduct cash flow modelling, IRR calculations, sensitivity and scenario analysis
- To assist with the preparation of property marketing materials
- To set up and service Data Room and be responsible for transaction documentation flow
- To assist with the preparation of clients presentations and pitch documents
- To assist on property viewings
- To assist with due diligence work
- To assist with the preparation of client reports
- To communicate with other transaction teams including clients
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Essential requirements:
University degree in finance or economy - completed or close to completion (Master Level)
Strong analytical skills
Excel understanding of MS Excel, Power Point, Word
Excellent English – both written and verbal
Ability to learn quickly and personal drive
Self motivated with drive for continuous improvement
Attention to detail and a business service focus
Passion for commercial real estate.
Desired requirements:
At least 1 year experience with financial modelling / valuation either in property or corporate business.
Prior experience with Visual Basic is welcomed
