Junior Quality Engineer/ Web Tester - Cheshire. North West - £20,000 - Testing, Web, regression, user acceptance, Junior tester
My client is a leader in social media and gaming for Digital TV and are looking for a Junior Quality Engineer / Web tester to join their team. Working as a member of the Quality Assurance team you will carry out functionality, regression and web testing. You will also create and execute test scripts and monitor defects on the companies bug tracking system.
Training will be provided to you but to be successful in this role you will need prior experience of web and software testing and a strong willingness to learn and develop new testing skills.
There will be an element of travel involved with this role to Europe so candidates will need a passport.
Skills Required:
• Minimum six months of web testing and testing software
• Experience of performing software system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Proven ability writing Test Plans from Functional specs and or Requirements documents
• Knowledge and or experience of Testing processes and practices
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a growing team, working with the latest platform technologies. The client is paying circa £20,000 plus benefits. This role is commutable from Warrington, Northwich, Cheshire, Runcorn and Knutsford.
