Leading Financial Trading Systems Vendor. Germany - Berlin.

€30,000 - €45,000 + Benefits + Bonus + Training

Harrington Starr is working with a leading Financial Trading Systems Vendor to find a Junior Quantitative Developer to work on the financial mathematics library doing pricing analytics and valuation.

As the Junior Quantitative Developer (Mathematics, Valuation, Java) you will be working on the central financial mathematics library for this global Financial Trading Systems Vendor. You will be valuing and calculating the price of a variety of different asset classes including equities, bonds, derivatives, options and swaps. This is a great opportunity to gain a deep understanding of how financial instruments work and the different methods of valuing and pricing.

This Leading Financial Trading Systems Vendor is one of the largest in the world and you will be joining the central analytics team for the Vendor. There is a large scope in this role to grow into a team leader in this role and build a career.
* A strong background in Financial Mathematics - Essential
* Internship experience with pricing and valuation of Financial Assets - Essential
* Ability to speak both German + English - Essential
* Strong knowledge of Excel - Highly Beneficial
* Basic Java and SQL programming knowledge - Beneficial
