Junior Research Analyst recruitment
In addition, the analyst will build and maintain financial models, conduct fixed income and industry research, update and maintain internal investment monitoring systems and help in the development of new research and investment initiatives for the team.
Major Responsibilities
- Act as a primary owner from a research coverage perspective on an initial limited list of assigned industries and/or positions and act as support and back-up on others. This entails maintaining a view on current and prospective fit for the portfolios and staying abreast of industry issues (reading publications and industry specific periodical, and attending industry conferences).
- Participate in due diligence meetings and conference calls and prepare and present investment recommendations to the Credit Committee.
- Perform portfolio analytics on performance, risk, return and other critical elements of the team's funds under management. Analyze relevant statistics such as standard deviation, tracking error, Sharpe ratio and information ratio.
- Establish and manage relationships with senior level managers from assigned companies, industry associations, and sell- and buy-side analysts.
- Prepare materials for Credit Committee meetings/presentations.
