Junior Risk Analyst Amsterdam recruitment

As a junior risk analyst within Asset Optimization and Trading you have the possibility of starting a big career in the Energy business. This position focuses on learning how to maintain and develop AOT’s ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) system, configuring and testing Risk Management technology with the ETRM system and supporting our front office (traders and analysts) in managing the risks in their portfolios.
After your selection, you will be sent to their Hamburg office for a nine month training period. After and partly during training, you will participate in the day to day activities of Analysis Infrastructure.

•Analysis Infrastructure has functional responsibility for the following services and tasks performed within VET
•ETRM System configuration in cooperation with IT and the Risk department
•Implementation of new products and markets into our system landscape
•Development and implementation of new pricing and valuation models
•Maintaining and developing market data database within the ETRM landscape
•Profit and Loss (PL) and Risk analysis
•Mitigation of Operational Risk
•Monitoring and reporting
•Project Management

Profile:
As I am looking for someone starting out in the job market, I don’t necessarily look for prior work experience. What I look for is an analytical university degree such as natural sciences, engineering, industrial engineering or similar.

•experience with Matlab and VBA programming
