Junior Risk Manager recruitment

We are now looking for a two bright, innovative, and energetic Junior Risk Managers to join the team.

As a Junior Risk Manager you will analyse the financial risks resulting from trading activities conducted by Optiver on the derivatives, commodities and stock markets across the globe. You will report to the local Head of Risk and will be part of a global market risk management team.

Daily responsibilities

*Conducting pro-active scan on trading risks;

*Producing Risk Reports and analysing them;

*Monitoring risk violations and reporting these to Head of Risk and

*trading department;

*Analysing and reconciling theoretical P/L’s reported by the Trading department;

*Evaluating arbitrage activities/hedging methodologies/trading models;

*Developing and implementing new risk methodologies;

*Advising Research IT Development and Trading department;

*Maintaining contacts with Clearing Banks, Brokers, Exchanges and Regulatory Authorities;

*Monitoring transaction and capital limits set up with brokers and clearing;

*Staying in touch with new developments in the field of Risk Management.

To be successful as a Junior Risk Manager you will have to fulfil the following criteria:

*A bachelors degree in Business, Economics or Finance;

*Excellent analytical skills;

*Strong verbal and written communication skills;

*An interest in the financial markets;

*Positive and enthusiastic attitude
