Junior Sales Analyst recruitment
Overview:
Neuberger Berman is an independent, employed owned asset management company founded in 1939. With offices around the world, the firm manages roughly $183 billion for institutional and intermediary clients. This includes equities, fixed income and alternative asset classes
Our established Zurich based Sales Team actively covers Swiss based banks, family offices, asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds and corporations with a dynamic and solution driven approach. This broad client base will have different needs and requirements with regards to strategies they invest in and day-to-day client servicing
The Swiss distribution team has the ability to market the entire Neuberger Berman product suite, with strategies across Equities, Fixed Income and Alternatives. This includes a UCITS III fund umbrella, several traditional and alternative commingled vehicles and managed accounts
After successfully supporting the Zurich based Sales Team, the candidate could have the possibility to be allocated own clients in order to contribute in asset raising, across the 3 Swiss regions
The candidate will enjoy working with a successful, experienced and stable sales team that is eager and well positioned to further develop their Swiss franchise
Responsibilities:
- Closely working with the following NB units in order to help develop the local client’s activity: Portfolio Management, Client Services, Marketing, RFP, Compliance and Performance Team
- Support the Senior Sales team for their day-to-day client activity and strategic initiatives
- Conduct market research, help on business strategy and client analysis
- Organise prospect related activity (client presentations, follow the regulatory framework etc.)
- Provide administrative support for the sales team (Data base management, CRM system, Pipeline run, Call reports, Client/Product mapping) to help enhance the sales process
- Organise and proactively help on focused client events
Qualifications/Skills:
- 1-2 years work experience or focused internships in Asset Management, in Switzerland
- Relevant experience in Sales useful but not essential
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A self-starter, who can take ownership to move initiatives forward, to close
- University degree or equivalent title required; in Economics, Finance or Banking
- CFA or equivalent education would be an advantage
- Languages: Fluent in French, fluent in English, German, fluent in Italian is a plus or
- Fluent in Swiss German, fluent in English, fluent in Italian is a plus
