Junior & Senior Arabic Speaking Relationship Managers

 

As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for the day to day management of either the Libyan or Egyptian counterparties, effectively acting as a point of contact for the bank’s representatives from either of the two countries. Your primary focus will be to reach the income targets as designated to you by the Manager or Head of Department whilst managing to operate within the risk parameters as agreed by the bank. As a relationship manager, you will actively be engaged in processing all business for either Libyan or Egyptian based customers, resolving problems, ensuring quality service, preparing credit proposals and assessing the risk stemming from either countries portfolio. You will be granted the authority to negotiate terms and conditions with counterparties, in accordance with your superior and approve overdrafts to parties within the banks commercial limits. As a result of the two Relationship Manager’s market focus, the roles may include travel to either Libya or Egypt. Moreover, your responsibilities will include assisting in the sourcing of new business outside of the two regions, continuously aiming to achieve maximal return through the best practice of relationship management, and optimal counterparty limits use. 

The ideal candidate will have experience within the corporate Arab banking environment and be a fluent Arabic speaker. Candidates who do not speak the language fluently will not be considered. You will have excellent knowledge and experience in cross selling banking products and services internationally and be comfortable working in a client-centric environment, developing relationships within trade and project finance banks. You will ideally have worked within a similar banking environment and have knowledge and experience in the preparation of credit proposals and credit analysis.
